Measurement Computing is a leading supplier of PC-based data acquisition systems. I provide graphic design and layout, technical illustration, publication/catalog production, web site design and maintenance, and sell sheet/data sheet production for the in-house marketing department.

August 1994 to February 1997
Freelance Graphic Designer
I worked as a freelance technical illustrator and graphic designer for several years before accepting a full-time position at IOtech (currently Measurement Computing). Provided technical manual and illustration, book design and production, logo and identity design, ad development, web graphics/design, and general graphic design services for various companies.

June 1981 to August 1994
Marplex, Inc.
I worked as a technical illustrator and graphic designer for this technical training development corporation. Provided technical illustration, graphic design, layout and coordination for print, slide presentations, and computer/video training communications materials.

On the left is a brief overview of my past and present employment. My career however, started much earlier. For several years I worked as a press operator for a local printer, learning the print trade from the bottom up.

Later on I worked as an assistant pre-press camera operator, darkroom tech, and ad/page layout artist for Gowe Printing, who at the time published the Sun Newspaper line.

I've been very fortunate with my career and will always be thankful to those individuals who gave me an early start in a profession in which I take great pride.
